Getting Started
How do I create a Frenley account?
Download the Frenley app and sign up with your email or phone number. You may need to verify your email; then set up your profile by adding photos and interests.
Can I sign up using Facebook or Google?
Yes. On the sign-up screen, choose the Facebook or Google option to create and log in to your Frenley account quickly using those credentials.
What if I forgot my password?
Tap "Forgot password" on the login screen and follow the instructions to reset your password via email. Use the address associated with your Frenley account.
Account & Profile
How do I edit my profile information?
Go to Settings (tap the profile icon) and select "Edit Profile". You can update your bio, photos, and personal details like age or location there.
How can I change my password?
In Settings, find "Password & Security" and follow the prompts to set a new password. Make sure to use a strong, unique password.
Can I delete my Frenley account?
Yes. If you want to deactivate, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This removes your profile and data permanently from Frenley.
Messaging & Matches
How do I message someone on Frenley?
You can only message users you have matched with. Open the Messages tab, tap a match, type your message, and press send to start chatting.
I accidentally unmatched someone. Can I get them back?
Unlike swiping, unmatching usually cannot be undone unless there is a special feature. Check if Frenley offers a "Backtrack" or "Undo" button, or try matching again.
Why can't I message without matching?
For privacy, Frenley only allows messages between users who have mutually liked each other (matches). This ensures both people have agreed to connect.
Safety & Privacy
How do I report or block another user?
Use the block/report option on a user’s profile or in the chat screen. Frenley takes safety seriously – our Safety Center is dedicated to informing users about safety tools and reporting.
What should I avoid sharing with matches?
Never send money or share financial/personal details with anyone:contentReference[oaicite:10]{index=10}. Avoid sharing private data like your address or routine. If someone asks for money or behaves suspiciously, report them immediately.
How can I protect my account?
Choose a strong password and keep it private. Frenley will never ask for your password in an email – if you receive a phishing email, report it:contentReference[oaicite:11]{index=11}. Enable any available security features in the app.
Billing & Subscription
How do I upgrade to Frenley Premium?
Tap the profile icon and select "Upgrade" or "Subscription". Choose the plan you prefer (monthly, yearly, etc.) and follow the in-app purchase steps to pay via your device.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancel through your device’s app store: go to Apple/Google account settings > Subscriptions > Frenley, and turn off auto-renew. Once cancelled, your premium benefits continue until the end of the billing period.
I was billed incorrectly. How do I get a refund?
Refunds follow App Store/Google Play policies. If you were charged in error, contact Frenley support with your purchase details. Include any receipts or screenshots for faster help.
Troubleshooting
What if the app is crashing or not working?
First, try closing and reopening Frenley. If issues persist, ensure you have the latest version: update or reinstall the app. Also try logging out and back in, or restarting your device.
Why can't I log in to my account?
If you forgot your login or changed devices, use "Forgot password" or log in with your linked email. If you’ve lost access to that email, contact Frenley support for account recovery help.
Why can't I upload photos?
Ensure your photos meet Frenley’s guidelines (clear headshots without inappropriate content). Also check your device settings to allow the app to access photos/media.
I'm not receiving notifications. What should I do?
Check your device’s settings to make sure Frenley notifications are enabled. In the app Settings, confirm notification preferences (likes, matches, messages) are turned on.
